The 2206H, for instance, is noteworthy for JBL’s patented Vented Gap Cooling technology in an improved Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG) magnetic structure. As for JBL horns, the JBL 2385A horn was designed especially for flush cabinet mounting or compact cluster applications, and has a 60° horizontal x 40° vertical measurement. The horn is particularly notable for offering uniform on and off axis frequency response from 500 Hz to beyond 16 kHz in the horizontal plane and 2 kHz to 16 kHz in the vertical plane, with constant directivity above 2 kHz.

In addition to these products, JBL offers professional compression drivers, such as model 2426H, a high frequency compression driver that includes JBL’s titanium diamond diaphragm, and the JBL 2446H, which includes a ferrite (ceramic) magnet structure, 500 Hz to 20 kHz response, 100 watts continuous program power handling (when used above 500 Hz150 watts) and 150 continuous program power handling (when used above 1 kHz).
