1. Is the outside glass or plastic?

2. How many leds are in the 4ft bulb?

3. Any discount ordering 6?

4. Are these sold in stores?

5. Bulbs you send out now arent recalled ?

Peter, I will have to check on how many LEDs are in the bulb. They have to be ordered by the case, 25. That way doesn't have to worry about breakages in transit. If they do break in transit, free replacements are sent out at no cost. I can offer a little discount if you are interested. The bulb is glass and has a 405nm LED Linear Array. The datasheet is available on our site now. These are really popular and the next shipment is expected in December. No recalls and if there was one, we handle everything. Let me know if you have more questions.

- I am a QA Manager for a manufacturing site in Illinois, we are thinking of converting to LED's for all our T8 black light fixtures.  

  We use UV ink to mark drapes and shades.  There are a total of 18 fixtures, each fixture requires 6 bulbs (picture attached).


- We would like to try the LED vs std florescent, What is your return policy?


- What is the estimated life time (Hours) for these bulbs

Great choice, these are a really popular choice for our customers. The hours are listed on the product web page, average rated life is 50,000 Hours. If you want a bulb for a sample, please let us know. Otherwise on this bulb its a 20-25% restocking fee. They must be sent back in original packaging. If any bulbs are accidentally broken in transit to your location, a replacement will be sent out to you at no cost.

These bulbs are direct replacement for F32T8 fluorescent bulbs, you don't have to bypass ballast correct?

Bill, they are plug and play.  **ONLY USE ON T8 INSTANT-START AND RAPID START ELECTRONIC BALLASTS. DO NOT USE ON PREHEAT BALLASTS.
