The black enclosure for recessed installation of 8 in. drivers shall be conically shaped Lowell Model No. 8PSBX. It shall be injection molded 0.125 in. thick high density Tenite® Polypropylene plastic. It shall have four pre-molded thin wall knockouts spaced at 90-degree intervals for conduit and a ribbed interior framework for resonance and vibration control. It shall have a depth of 4 inches. The mounting flange for the grille shall have eight 0.218 in. diameter holes spaced at 45-degree intervals. The enclosure shall include factory-installed 8-32 screw retaining clips in four places spaced at 90-degree intervals. The diameter of the grille mounting bolt circle shall be 11.25 in.
