Whirlwind WFFD12X1KIT - Wall frame 13" x 1", black with door and WFI1212B fits 12" recessed electrical box.

Wall Frame Door

The Whirlwind WFFD12X1KIT is a flush mount, hinged door assemblies that attach to a 12”x 12” NEMA Type 1 box.

It provides an attractive, locking door for Whirlwind wall frames that recess connector panels inside the backbox.

A blank connector mounting plate (part# WFI12X12) is included with the complete assembly.

The outside dimension of the door bezel is 14”x14”

The door can be installed to open either left or right.

Can also punch, load and engrave panels that fit into the wall frame enclosure, ready to wire and install, for contractor convenience. Ask for details or quotes.

Standard Recessed Wall Frames, No Kits

(WFF series) Recessed mount version, mounts "in the wall" and its mounting flanges extend one-half inch beyond the edge of the backbox on all four sides to provide a visually appealing trim ring effect to the finished wall.

(WFS series) Surface mount version mounts "on the wall" and its mounting flanges are the same dimensions as the corresponding backbox. Optional Whirlwind black powder-coated backboxes for the surface mount versions (as pictured above) are available for a finished look as opposed to a NEMA type electrical box, see table below.

Frame finish is black powder-coat. Custom finishes available upon request.
