Sound Masking Loudspeaker Assemblies

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) of 1996 guidelines require covered entities (doctors, clinics, psychologists, dentists, chiropractors, nursing homes, and pharmacies) to “put in place safeguards to protect personal health information.” These safeguards should include speech privacy measures if confidential information is in danger of being overheard by unauthorized persons.

Used in a properly designed system, in conjunction with Atlas Sound masking generators and amplification, the M1000-USA masking speaker assembly will accurately reproduce the needed spectrum of masking sound into the plenum or open space installations. Please note that trained personnel should perform equalization and final level adjustments for any masking system using calibrated, industry accepted audio analysis hardware and/or software. To ensure successful masking deployments, Atlas Sound offers a variety of design and commissioning tools for our authorized dealers ranging from simple speaker layout assistance to comprehensive on site system commissioning.
